Introduction
Situated at the upper part of Cheonjiyeon Waterfall at Seohong dong, Seogwipo City, the Geolme Eco Park is a hallmark of an eco-city where people and nature harmoniously co-exist. Highly valued as an eco-tourism resource that raises the awareness of the importance of natural environment to citizens and tourists by preserving eco-friendly natural environment and conserving the Cheonjiyeon Aaterfall, the Geolme Eco Park is now becoming one of the most treasured tourist destinations in Korea.
It features a water plant garden, wetland ecosystem garden, wild greens (including Japanese apricot) garden, wild bird aviary, and boardwalks. The eco-park is the result of the awareness and ongoing efforts of the citizens to turn a commercial entertainment spot into a sustainable eco-friendly park. You can experience nature at a deep level within this man-made park.
